Kapur jackets are 100% cotton and are made in India using the ancestral block-print technique with the greatest care and respect for quality know-how.
Indian block-printing consists of hand-printing, using stamps cut into wood, patterns in colors made from a mixture of natural pigments. This fabric is also environmentally friendly as it does not contain any chemicals and the colors are fixed using a mixture of water and white vinegar. This manual production can lead to certain “irregularities” whose charm we love ♡
